VillageCare’s Board of Directors has appointed Shaun Ruskin as President and Chief Executive Officer of VillageCare and VillageCareMAX Managed Care Health Plans, marking the organization’s first new CEO appointment since 2009. Having served as Chief Operating Officer and most recently as Acting President and CEO following the retirement of longtime CEO Emma DeVito, Shaun brings deep organizational knowledge and steady leadership to this pivotal moment and will lead the executive team in advancing VillageCare’s strategic priorities, business operations, and enduring commitment to delivering exceptional, member-centered care.
VillageCareMAX Completes Acquisition of ArchCare Community Life MLTC Plan

VillageCareMAX, a not-for-profit, five-star rated MLTC Plan, has completed the acquisition of the key assets of ArchCare Community Life MLTC. The acquisition received final approval from the New York State Department (NYSDOH) of Health, and members began to transition over to VillageCareMAX effective June 1, 2024.
